    It was the stuff from endfile.com that made me think of it, at least I'm pretty sure it was. At the moment I can't quite recall if I made this before or after I checked out the link. . . I've been stitching every free minute I've had since late November so I'm a little fuzzy on when anything got done.

    I didn't make a pattern, I just found a collection of OS 9 icons, cut this one out and blew it up. I worked directly from a printout and occasionally Preview (it's really handy for counting pixels). As for picking out colors, well I just took a printout of the color swatch book and held it up to the screen. Essentially I used every gray DMC makes.

    I've put the floss colors in notes on the image. Here's a shopping list: 310, 415, 413, 3747, 3799, 414. The red and the green were just leftovers and I have no idea what number I used.
