This is the last shot of Phil from our session the other week. This is the shot I really wanted to get, inspired by similar shots of David Lynch I've seen. It took a bit of playing with the lights to make it work, but I was really happy with the final result. In hindsight it would have been good to have a third light camera left as a bit of subtle rim light to bring out that side of Phil's body, but unfortunately I only had two at my disposal. Ah well; live and learn...

Another shot of Phil for a the other week. This was actually taken as a set up shot while I was trying to get my lights and focusing right, but I ended up really liking it!

This is the first of a series of shots I did with my mate Phil recently. He's married to Stacey (who I've also photographed) and Snoo and I were invited round to their place for dinner the other week, and I thought it would be cool to do some shots of Phil while we were there. He's in the process of giving up smoking as one of his new year's resolutions, so I wanted to try and get some shots (in a similar style to those of David Lynch that I've seen around recently) before he gave up. I was really pleased with how they came out. More to come...

I'm trying to eat more healthily this year to try and lose some weight for the wedding and to help my climbing. This has been my breakfast for the last week or so. This dieting thing isn't such a hardship, really...
