      I was in Jiuzhaigou in late Summer and the colors did not look like this! This is surreal.

      Kevin, villasams....the lakes' turquoise color has to do with
      the high concentration of calcium carbonate in the water. This concentration of calcium also rapidifies the solidification
      of the fallen tree trunks.
      I guess this is one of the reasons why JZG so unique.
