She died this week from kidney failure after living for well over a dozen years. A dog never had such a life... living at the lake, chasing squirrels, eating bacon for breakfast, and entertaining my grandparents all day long. Ginger, you will be missed!

Yeah, it's sad, but like I said she lived the good life!

When she was my dog, I nicknamed her "Boo Boo" (I don't even remember why)... then we gave her to my grandparents about 10 years ago, and my grandpa nicknamed her "Smiley" because she always looked like she was smiling and happy.

I will always remember how she loved living on the lake. I taught her to duck her head underwater and pick up small rocks from the shore. A diving dog! Amazing.

Anyway... yeah it's sad.
