Analogy

Analogy by Benjamin Chun.
My students were raised on web forms. They intuitively know the difference between radio buttons (single selection) and checkboxes (multiple selection). It does seem, to me, a little backwards to be using this to explain control flow structures but hey, whatever works.

yeah! whatever happened to the good old cryptic logic syntax?

i think this is actually kind of a cool way of explaining it...

especially if they are already familiar with the pattern from the web.

no need to scare em with discrete math...plenty of time for that :D
