Yesterday afternoon brought a rare sight for us Oregonians: blue sky! Around 3pm, when I saw the clear sky, immediately my star-depraved self perked up and thought- stars tonight!
We deliberated, pontificated and almost wussed out due to cold night forecast. But, in the end, we all ended up on Mt Hood shooting in the snow.
Crazy light conditions up there. Not sure when we stepped into the
Twilight Lighting Zone, but we did. The stars were elusive as passing
clouds blazed by overhead, but occasionally patches of sky would open
up to amazing sights such as this.
I think Darren may get the prize for the night with his take though. I'm curious to see what other shots get posted from the night.
I feel more relaxed and the shakes have subsided now that I got a short star fix.
Tonight, Valorie and I are joining in on the N Portland Santa Pub crawl.
