Must View On Black
As Summer progresses and the clouds clear out, I look forward to making images showing the wonder of Nature and being out in it.
This was shot out by Maupin, OR.
This is one exposure.
All captured in camera.
Flashlight in the tent to light the tent
I did do a little bit of Photoshop work, so I will put the original image straigh out of the camera down below. I want to show how beautiful our world is without needing Photoshop, so you can see all I did was correct the lens distortion of the tent, and removed the distracting black gear holders inside the tent walls.
In Lightroom I adjusted the color and contrast a bit. The original image was too bright from the camera.
Please, I challenge you to get out this summer, far from the large
cities, and go camping. Breathe fresh air.
And before you go to sleep, walk away from the campfire and lights to a dark hill. Give your eyes 10 minutes to adjust and look up into the sky. You will be amazed :-)
I went out shooting the last two nights with my friend Jon, we came
back with some KILLER night images. I think you'll really enjoy this
round of images!
A huge thank you goes out to my girlfriend for her patience, understanding and support in my inconvenient pursuit of starry night images. Thank you darling :-)
