      how long does that take?

Takes a bit longer than it normally would, and it totally drained the Solio.

heheh.. were you good and get it as a promo from the KQED "keep the listeners hostage until we make the cash" marathon?

I still think that's a great use ... but would probably keep it in my backback ... (already have the car charger)

Thanks for the great ... Xmas gift reminder. ;)

No, I bought it, but I was tempted to re-donate to KQED to get another one. I love the Solio. I keep it fully charged in my bag at all times in case I need to charge something, and I can charge virtually everything I own via USB.

What I really want, and what I hear Solio is working on, is a larger version that'll power a laptop or a speaker system so that I can really get off the grid, but still blast music to annoy nearby campers.

They already have a new one - here - but the output is still only 5 watts. FEH!

If every American traded in their gas guzzling SUVs for hybrids, America could cut its oil consumption by more than half, and we could sustain ourselves on domestic oil only - that means we would not need to buy a single barrel of oil from the Middle East !
