They have grown up (and old) together. I am envious of other people who share stories of how their cats sleep cuddled up together, or play together. These two have never had that type of relationship, for whatever reason, but as they've approached their senior years, they've spent more time napping close together.
Gabby (left) is approaching 17 years next month. I don't expect her to make it through this year. In fact, I have anxiety every day on my way home from work that I will find her gone when I get home.. yet every day, there she stands as I open the front door, talking and meowing like crazy at me. She's lost most of her hearing. She wakes up in the middle of the night and stands in the hallway carrying on like crazy for no reason - I think she's becoming senile. It's so sad!
Coco (right), still acts like a young'in, even though she'll be 14 in a few months.
I love our new dog, Dexter, beyond belief, but these two hold the most incredibly special place in my heart.
I am so embarrassed for being incredibly behind w/ commenting on your streams. Will be around to visit you this weekend.
