Well just a quick little update to my flickr friends out there with whom I have done a horrible job keeping in touch with you. I'm sorry :(

In October I got a new job offer (still in mental health nursing) in a new city (well not really, I lived there for about 6 years prior to London) and had to uproot and relocate my life within about 3 weeks. It was quite the change but I don't regret it for a minute. I am loving being back close to all my good friends! Life is so much better with friends :)
I have been learning a lot about myself since I moved back here and I am working on reaching some of my personal goals. Things I had set on the back burner for a long time.

Life is good :) And I hope things are well with all of you as well! xo

Made these for my friend who just had a baby. She went in 2 weeks early. We had went strawberry picking and the tractor ride was really bumpy; I jokingly said "maybe it will cause you to go into early labour"....her water broke that night when she was home :) Guess I called that one!

As for my flickr....my pro account expires tomorrow and I'm not going to be renewing it. I have started a blog under the guise of my knitting projects, but it will mostly be for whatever I feel like jabbering on about. I haven't posted past the first entry, but I am hoping to post it more. I will try to find a away to pass the link on to those who may be interested in keeping up to date with me; but need to find a private way to do so, as there are people who look on my flickr that I do not wish to have any insight into my life.

I will of course continue to check in on all of my close flickr friends :)

I was super anxious about taking my camera out on the water, but apparently you'd have to be really trying to tip a canoe and I kept it in a water-sealed cooler bag when it wasn't around my neck. So glad I took it out on the water :)

The islands and the trees sort of reminded of some of the paintings by the "group of seven" (google/wiki if not sure what I'm referring to). I will say this of Ontario.....the parks are beautiful...
