At least I’m being seen...
...so nobody can deny my existence!
Italy's major newspaper, La Repubblica, recently displayed me on their front page and I was viewed 375.000 times during the first
24 hours on line. Imagine a dollar a view!
But alas…, only 50 dollars from one compassionate Italian to help me
on my way.........
Become a Changemaker and help change a child’s reality!
We can all be part of that change...
It is in deepest regret and sadness that I inform you of Roney's cold-blooded murder on the early morning hours of January 16th. May he find peace wherever his journey has taken him.......
We need your Change more than ever now, to bring about justice so that Roney's death will not have been in vain.

people really doesn´t matter to what things really means today. if you take a walk on any public place on Italy maybe anybody will recognize you and perhaps, ask for your autograph (what a laugh!). but understanding seriously your message and proposals... oh, rare people is focused on it. we live the times that you are worth by what you seem to be not by what you really are. sad, man.

What a pity that I couldn't be with you!
I know how much is important the money to develop all you need there, and how difficult is to make people share it, specially if they look at this as charity, as giving something and having nothing back... blind people, my dear.
People also have much bla, bla, bla, and don't really act.
But, hey don't be angry with all those views!
People are seeing what you do, they see the changemaker you are, and you know that THIS is part of the work.
Disturb them, please :)

Gregory, the more I think at 375.000 visits for 50 euros, the more I feel depressed. 1 cent each would have given 3750 euros. 1/1000 of euros each would have given 375 euros. If I consider that everybody who could take a look at your wonderful pics finally contributed to your project for a total amount of 0,000133 something euros each, I feel ... burnt out!

You are obviously quite new to fund-raising for social causes.
If you have millions to spend to manipulate the minds of people, you will usually receive tenfold back. Or tragically, a street kids massacre to suddenly wake the comfortable sleeping from their hibernation and ask themselves why they didn't do something before it reached such an extreme......
We are a small, low-cost, grass-roots organization in CARF, doing a very dedicated volunteer job for more than 14 years. Our actions are limited to the amount of funding we have available and we would love to do sooooo much more, but................................., your maths says it all!
CARF is an NGO that has always believed in the help from compassionate, common people who feel they need to do something to help change the sad world of children at risk. I could build an entirely new street kids prevention centre for a dollar a view (we have plans for three such centres these next few years) and I'd still have money left over, so economic are we in our plight.
Take a look at what we already created, for far less money than a dollar a view. It's the old story of many hands making our work a little lighter.......................
The rest is already well-documented in my Flickr stream.
Don't worry, we will get there in the end because sooner or later we will all be forced to change our attitudes to keep this planet and its peoples alive. Thanks for all your valued help! - Gregory

Hi Gregory, no Im' not new at all! I've being doing it in many ways (from support to tibetan refugees in India to help to Sarajevo during the civil war) and have seen much more warm reactions to much less valuable projects, so in this case I felt a bit sad, but everything will pass, even deception, and Ill keep on trying to support you, dont worry!
