On the Streets - XIX

On the Streets - XIX by carf.
Robison and Eduardo in 1998, seemingly enjoying themselves on the streets, but the smiles on their faces only hide their dispair and gives them hope of a better future awaiting them.

Today they are both recuperated and live independent lives. Their colleagues, who can be seen in several of the photos in this series, are already dead and gone!

This Video Clip, which includes intervues with former street kid Robison, was made by American teen reporters from Strive Media Institute in the USA during their visit to the Hummingbird Project in São Paulo.

A mixture of both glue sniffing and crack cocaine, gagah!
Happily it does belong to their past. Take a look at this one and this, plus many others.

And some pretty first-rate COCAINE CRACK!
Eduardo to the right, was smoking the stuff nearly 50!!!! times a day. He would have bust in the end if we didn't get him off the streets in time.
Today it is so wonderful hearing him tell the story of how he would always refuse my help...
But at least he's here to tell!

I suppose that's what fuels us.

It's nice to see smiles on their faces, they do look happy

@kristensenlasse,
Those smiles are not the smiles of happiness, merely the after effects of too much glue sniffing.
Today their smiles are for real.
