Thanks, Jen. If you haven't been to Cape May you may want to plan a trip. It's filled with tons of camera eye candy such as this.

This a wonderful example of the second empire style. It has the projected upper windows with gables and the mansard roof.
    Pretty!

Took a ferry over to Cape May from Rehoboth Beach. Love all these
historic homes. Even if I won the lottery, I couldn't even afford their
    taxes.

We went there at Christmas one year until New Years day--I loved this Inn--I think it was the Queen Victoria--owned by Dane Wells? They had Christmas trees in every room and the most heavenly food ever. You have to stay there if you haven't already. The hosts clean with Murphys Oils soap and there is lavander soap in all the rooms. On the 3rd floor there was a footed tub--it was so cold--I think it wsa the coldest place I have ever been in my life---but it was also like a Dicken's Village come to life--thanks for brining back happy memories!

Hey! I'm the editor for a hard-bound book that's currently in production, and found your photos via a Flickr search for great New Jersey photos.

The Star-Ledger is putting on a photo contest for the purpose of finding the absolute best photos of New Jersey, then publishing them in a fine-art coffee-table book. What's unique about this contest is that users are in the drivers seat, voting for the photos they think should be in the book. There's also a lot of prizes to be won ($20,000 worth), although for most photographers the state-wide exposure (especially if your photos make the book) is the reason to get involved.

We're calling it Great Destinations NJ. It's all free and I think your photos would be a great fit. You retain all rights and you get some great exposure for your website or Flickr page (we properly credit you, and link back to you all over the place, plus your website would be published if your photos made the book). If you've got a free minute and want a shot at getting published, winning prizes, or just want to see some other great New Jersey photos, head over to Great Destinations NJ.

Oh and we use the Flickr API so putting your photos on the Great Destinations NJ website is a click of a button.

If you'd like to know more about the project, or want to shoot me a FlickrMail, please feel free to do so.

    Thanks for your time!
    -Chris
