The machine's just for ordering- people do
make the food and give it to you. I went to a
gas station that had one of these in it; you
could order the food at the counter where you
pick it up if you didn't want to use the
machine.
It's right around the corner from from my
office on Airport Blvd. in Morrisville, NC. Hearing the Colonel and the taco talking to
each other is a little terrifying.
Sheetz has been using this type of thing for
over 10 years. East coast deli/convenience
chain Wawa has added them to most of their
stores over the last few years and it makes
ordering sandwiches, with endless
combinations of ingredients, amazingly easy.
I have not had a incorrectly-made sandwich
there since they added the kiosks.
