We pick ourselves up, try and grow better through the change
This isn't the greatest thing in the world, but my one class for the day got cancelled and I realized I haven't made a fool out of myself in front of strangers in a while, so. I've just been in a really good mood lately and wanted to share it :)
Last week was light on homework so I watched the documentary 'The Human Experience' (which every human person should watch) (it's on Netflix, don't be lazy) and I realized that I'd become sort of a horrible person. Relatively. Worse than I hoped to be. Even though I've always thought the purpose of my life is to help as many people feel as comfortable and happy as possible, I haven't been living that way.
So I made a pact with myself to just be better, I guess; to actually treat everyone like a best friend, volunteer more, smile more, the whole deal. And study abroad, hopefully--I stopped hoping to because it doesn't look great on grad school applications for psych majors for some reason unbeknownst to me, but I honestly could not care less about that anymore. It would mean the world to me to get as much education as I possibly can, but I've realized that I could work in a soup kitchen for the rest of my life and be perfectly happy, so long as I'm making other people happy. I'd so much rather work ten jobs to experience another culture and be turned down by grad school snobs than stay in a bubble and not live at all.

A guy actually said a pick up line to me earlier, before I went to play with chillens at a church. And asked for my number. It was the cheesiest thing. But no one's ever actually directly expressed interest in my milkshake before, so I was too flustered to not act like a moron. Anyways. Just proved to me that MY POSITIVE OUTLOOK KARMA IS CHANGING HOLLA.
