Apricot Epiphyllum

I took this using overhead daylight diffused fluorescents in my wife's music studio. I am happy that the camera settings produced an accurate color.

Pacific Treefrog

Tan stage with just a hint of green on his (?) leg. I first thought the 'string' on his back was fishing line, but it was from a yet identified water plant.

Found several of these in the Arcata, CA, marsh. A warm day, they were very much on the move, but I did get two to stop long enough for a photo. Green version most common.

I love the skin texture shown here.

Black Cottonwood

While all of the black cottonwood in the lower elevations (3600 feet) have lost their leaves, this one at about 5000 feet has not given up yet. Even with a snow storm blowing in, it stands out against the evergreens.
