What is a Munny? A Munny is a 7 inch tall DIY toy made of hard vinyl. It is a pop art canvas! A darling friend or evil foe! Your Munny comes out of the box blank and naked - it is up to you to paint, sculpt, adorn it and bring it to life! No rules, just have fun and create! Munny is made by Kid Robot and is available blank in WHITE, BLACK and GLOW variations.

'For Love of Munny' will have on display over two hundred custom painted Munny toys. The range of style and subject matter is as wide ranging as the artists themselves. The show is composed in majority of local South Florida artists, from accomplished professional painters and tattoo artists to students and hobbyists. It is a never before seen overview of South Florida artists. About 25% of the artists in the show are non-local, coming to us from such far flung locales as: Chicago, Texas, California, Croatia, Arizona and Ohio!

We chose to do a 'Munny Show' as our first show at the Bear and Bird Boutique + Gallery because we felt it would nicely bring together some of the many worlds that TATE'S has catered to over the years. The use of a stock "blank toy" levels the playing field and really allows artists to show what they can do when their imagination is set free. We are proud and excited to finally have a venue to showcase artists and to offer great art to a whole new generation of collectors.
