My faithful S410, all ready to be boxed up and shipped to Canon for service. There's a known fault with the CCD that they'll repair for free even though it's well out of warranty. I've heard, however, that their S410 stock is running low and they may substitute another model camera as a replacement. I thought I should take a goodbye photo, just in case.

Yep, that's right. I might get my s410 back (or one just like it) or maybe another camera. I'll know sometime next week after they take a look at it.
