Dr. McIntyre observed that, since a Capitol Campaign launched in 1963, this could have been an event leading up to it. These are likely not alumna, since Boston College did not have this many female graduates in 1961. Fr. Walsh, Boston College President, is seated at the head table to the left of the lectern.
