Post office complete

    Newer Older

Completed (FINALLY!) post office. This project too longer than it should have, due to a lot of indecision and procrastination. I doubt I'll be adding much more to it, perhaps a set of scales one day when I find one. As for now YAY COMPLETED PROJECT!!! Goodness knows I don't complete enough of them...

It's so tiny and perfect. Nothing wrong with taking your time and enjoying a project. The time and thought that you've put into was completely worth it :)

Thanks! A lot of the time I just got frustrated with it and shoved it to one side though, heh.

How did you make the post office sign and the wood grain look? I love this post office.

I just used paint direct from the tube with a stiff brush. This will leave streaks that show the lighter, original building colour underneath, making the wood grain effect.
