My folks were big H. Allen Smith fans...I grew up reading his books as a child and thinking they were hilarious. But then, I was a strange child.

Hi, I'm an admin for a group called Retro Beach, and we'd love to have this added to the group!

Did it work this time? I love this image - even the font is fabulous.
I don't think that I can add it any other way to the group besides this way.

Silly me! I thought this was MY copy of "Waikiki Beachnik," but it belongs to Biff Bang Pow! He'll have to add it! (Boy, do I need to go on a long vacation....) That's the trouble with this Flickr "Around You" stuff...I can't tell who's what!

Hi, I'm an admin for a group called Hawaiian Lei, and we'd love to have this added to the group!

This is so much the type of picture that I am hoping to capture in my new group Hawaiian Lei. Unique shots to show the beauty, the many meaning(s), the joy, the history, and the culture of the lei. Thank you for considering to participate in this new group.

    Mahalo,
    Penny

I absolutely love this book. Read it a few years back.
