clicked on it to watch it, didn't get passed the irritation of you guys resizing my browser window. That is a no no. The typo on the video doesn't seem to fit the feel of it, it looks like it is just there and the font feels a little heavy. Good colors though.

I think you could quicken the pace on the text. Not only is there more than ample time to digest the concepts, but the underscore is much more driving than the text fades. I only got about half way through because I couldn't stomach the "hurry up" feeling I had while watching it. I think much of that feeling came from the tension between the pace and the score.

I agree with hsojeel about your font choice—it's heavy. I also found the lowercase i to be distracting. I did like your desaturated imagery. It was appropriate to the mood and consistent (in the half that I saw).

Nice colors... but the pace is waaaay too slow. I agree with the "hurry up" feeling. The audience can digest it much quicker than that.

Yes, I agree. Fade a little faster so we can get to the point. I had to consciously resist the urge to click away. It was slow. The concept is great and the imagery is good.

i would much rather listen to those words so that they come more quickly rather than having to read them. I think they would be much more powerful as a spoken statement of life accompanying the words on screen rather than just something to passively watch. my 2c.

Where did the piano music come from? It sounds familiar.

There have been a few comments on making my last few videos faster. This, perhaps, proves why they shouldn't be.

When you are watching this video off flickr, you are in front of your computer surfing on the internet. For a lot of us (myself included), my life..and specifically when I'm on the computer..is rather rushed. I want things NOW. It's almost like this insatiable craving comes out of nowwhere when I get on the computer..for the next thing.

This video is shown in church..where people are coming from their outside lives to stop all that and think about life. For many of us (again, myself included), slowing down is not a natural thing. The video is shown - with the lights dimmed and quiet around them - to prepare them to hear the message of the gospel..to enter into a spiritual world. Again, this is not "natural" by any means. And to do so, the purpose of media sometimes is not just to entertain but to marinate and prepare...to be used as a combo with the msg. It's not a movie trailer. Knowing the context and purpose of a media piece is essential. The purpose of this piece is to..slow..folks..down.

Perhaps it is still a bit slow and may need to be sped up a bit. But perhaps we need to ask ourselves, "Do I need to be slowed down?"

The piano music is by Carly Comando . It is also used in an NBA commercial.
