A vista de gárgola
Las vistas desde el mirador del Belfort de Gante son realmente impresionantes. A mi me gustó mucho más que el de Brujas, que tanta fama tiene, por que la planta del mirador de Brujas, aunque está más alta, es muy pequeña y las ventanas están tapadas con rejas... imagino que la gente hacía estupideces :(.
Por otro lado, los accesos son mucho mejores que en el Belfort de Brujas, hay ascensor y todo (en Brujas son más de 300 escalones en una escalera de caracol bastante claustrofóbica, no apto para todos los públicos), tiene varios pisos por el mendio con pequeños museos temáticos sobre el dragón que está el cumbre de la torre, las campanas, el carrillón, etc. De hecho, el carrillón se puede ver muy de cerca, y si se va a las horas "en punto" se puede disfrutar en plena acción.
En la foto se ven también parte de las obras que había por la ciudad, de las que ya hablé en otras fotos, y es que la zona de la catedral y el Belfort tenía las calles todas levantadas.

The views from the Belfort of Ghent are really impressive. I liked it much more than the one from Bruge, which is very famous, but it has the small windows covered with bars... guess people did stupid things: (.
On the other hand, the access is much better than in the Belfort of Bruges, there is even a lift (in Bruges are more than 300 steps in a very claustrophobic spiral staircase, not suitable for all audiences), and has several floors with small thematic museums, on the dragon in the top of the tower, bells, chimes, etc. In fact, the carillon can be seen very closely, and can even be enjoyed in full swing at oclock hours.
In the picture can also be seen part of the works he had in the city, of which I spoke in other photos.
