Het werd tijd voor wat nieuws, dus kocht ik een 24" iMac
Het bureau is van IKEA, tafelblad heet Vika Lauri, daaronder zijn 2 sets Dioder geplakt voor de verlichting er in

It was time for something new, so I bought an 24" iMac
The desk is made by IKEA, the name is Vika Lauri. Underneath there are 2 sets of Dioder taped to it, for the light in the desk

    The remote is for a Philips Livingcolors, not seen in the photo's. The LED's in my desk are controlled by a switch on the power cord, also not seen on the photo

    Really awesome, I love the led's. Since Ikea is so far away from me I get my kits with remotes at www.ledlightingkit.com its the same as the dioder but has a remote

    Quick question. Do you have the LEDs facing up taped to the desk, or facing out taped to the aluminum lip?

    I have mine taped to the aluminium lip facing outwards, seems to diffuse into the desk better :)

    Awesome desk, and like Marc said, very Star Trek-inspired :) I loved this so much last week after I added it to my favorites that I bought the same desk. Next time I head to IKEA, I hope they have the DIODER lights in stock :) Most excellent.

    Hey,
    very nice setup. I was thinking of putting LEDs underneath my glastable. But I was worried that the light might distract me or maybe even glare into my eyes. Does the light bother you during your work?

    It doesn't distract me at all, but I've been using it for years so I'm used to it. It also helps the glass is matte, you don't notice all the individual LED's like you do in the photo, it's spread out more evenly.
