I still had batik colors in my basement and wanted to try the wax technique on eggs before Easter. I heated the wax in a wax melting pot. To apply the hot wax on the eggs I used the Tjanting and brushes in different sizes. After this I dyed the eggs in the batik colors.I made several applications and colorings, then I had to remove the wax. The result from my first attempt you can see on the photo. Ich hatte noch Batikfarben in meinem Keller und wollte die
Wachstechnik mal auf Eiern ausprobieren. Das Wachs habe ich
Wachsschmelzer erhitzt und es mit Tjanting und Pinsel wahllos auf die
Eier aufgetragen. Nach dem Erkalten vom Wachs habe ich die Eier in die
Farben gelegt und gefärbt. Nach mehreren Wachsaufträgen und
verschiedenen Färbungen musste ich das Wachs wieder von den Eiern
entfernen. Das Ergebnis von meinem ersten Versuch seht ihr auf dem
Foto.
