Only decorative, not even any armor on it. But as always when there's something rare in the game everyone is insanely interested. And of course it does look nice.

What I think is funny is the silly amounts of gold folk pay for it. Considering that it has no benefits other than being unusual.

Apparently some people are hanging out and killing that level 7 over and over to get this. Although I guess there are other silly things I've spent a few hours in game doing...

Yeah I agree. I like to spend hours running around Tanaris and Aszhara reporting gold farmers, and ganking them if they are PvP enabled, which is extremely rare. I guess I need to go to a PvP server.

Heh, that's fun - the gold farmers are the one thing that consistently makes me think I need to try PvP servers. Of course I am not quick at reacting so I'm sure that while I'd be trying to figure out if someone was a bot someone else would come up behind me and bam, there I'd be, dead. But killing bots is indeed a nice thought.
