I guess that you have included this photo to show how expensive fuel is - but it's about twice this price in the UK! (Around 96pence per litre.) See here taken a year ago - the price is about the same now after having fallen a bit for a few months..

Funny you should mention that. We were just discussing this with some friend a couple of hours ago. I have always found it difficult to get upset about the rising price of gas here because we hosted foreign students for about 10 years in the 1980s and I know that we are finally now paying the price everybody in most of the rest of the world was paying then and it's now 20+ years later. We were due for these kinds of prices. We were living "high off the hog" (as we say here) for far too long!
