NYC 9/11 Memorial Field, Inwood Hill Park

NYC 9/11 Memorial Field, Inwood Hill Park by baslow.
Between 9/9/2006 and 9/11/2006 a soccer field in Inwood Hill Park, in Northern Manhattan will be transformed into a 9/11 Memorial Field, consisting of over 3,000 flags printed with the names of those who perished in the World Trade Center bombing in 2001. This will be the only event in NYC open to all 8 million New Yorkers who lived through that tragic day..

These photos are always inspiring to me. I visited NYC just prior and a little after the attacks on business and it is always a moving sight.
