23/365: blue angel fire
23/365
I was experimenting. The results were mixed. It's fairly difficult to get the right depth of field with the point and shoot. I got a few shots with nice bokeh, but nothing else worked. This was the most balanced of my attempts with some mild bokeh and a basically in focus angel.

22/365: red berries, winter day
22/365
I set the white balance on the camera for tungsten lighting, even though I was outdoors, which gave the background the nice cool blue cast, and then also set the camera to a vivid red setting to try and make the berries pop.
Plus I did some enhancing in gimp using the curves tool.

21/365: blue lady, green man
21/365
This is a corner of a painting we have in the house. It isn't by anybody we know. In fact, it came from a strange little art sale happening at a local hotel. All the paintings on sale looked like they were painted by people who attended the same how-to class for painting. They all had a kind of generic sheen...except for this one.

20/365: empty swings
20/365
I took a walk this afternoon after work looking for things to photograph. I guess I didn't realize how chilly it had gotten. I took a number of photos of the swings, but the chill wind kept blowing in my eyes and making them water. It made it hard to tell if I had a good focus. Another lesson learned.
Shot in black and white in the camera.
