Been reworking my Contacts list, sorry if you got a weird Flickrmail saying I just added you as a contact. Yes, you've been my contact all the time. I love you.
OK, so who here plays the loc.alize.us vanity game?
It's a great fun for bored narcissistic attention whores, which makes it perfect for me.
I go to the map site, do a max zoom on my geotagged picture and then I zoom out clicking on the minus sign, counting how many clicks it takes for my pic to disappear from the front page of the most interesting pictures of the area. Then I can say that this particular picture is "an 8-click marvel" and I can go and brag about it to someone who cares, this someone being my 2-year old, who likes when daddy talks to him.
With new country visited, there's new people whose pictures are better than mine. I knew the wonderful pictures of Christine Lebrasseur before from the groups I frequented - I just never noticed she also went to Djerba and she rules the Tunisian geotagged photos. But I met this guy Andzer for the first time - please check out his Tunisia photoset and see the unbelievable golden desert shots.
