My nation, especially its elders and its politicians, firmly believes that the war never actually ended, it's just the weapons that have changed. They believe that today our (still) evil neighbors are buying our land and polluting the young minds with Western liberal, permissivist culture. And that point of view kinda explains my country's inability to function normally in the modern world.
