Originally built at the end of the 19th century, this building was the United States Post Office. It now occupies only a portion of this building on Cadman Plaza/Johnson Street/Adams Street.

    Wow Barrybar!
Architecture without any murals or advertisements.
I dig your stuff, but, I like this change quite a bit.
    Nice shot.

I must admit that I've been in an intense mural/graffiti zone for the past several years. I walk the streets of cities with eyes shifting from left to right to up. Is it any wonder I am continually under surveillance? :)) That's behavior of a suspect character, no? Thanks.

I agree--I love old architechture in particular. I also like the tiny daubs of color: blue flag, yellow signal, red car.

It would be interesting to have someone follow you around with a videocamera, and watch who is watching you :)

yeimaya, I saw your note. You know if there is graffiti up there on the roof then I'll have to climb it! :D

Laura Grace, can you imagine the quantity of videotape we're talking about? :D

Back in the 70's, I remember checking with the authorities to see if I showed up in their files. Nothing! Bummer! Now my grandchildren will think I sat out the protests, picket lines and didn't get a whiff of tear gas. :((

Yes Barrybar, this one has some heart and character. I would feel like a human being walking into it,but not the other. I often think governments build oppressive structures in an attempt to strip away people identities.
