Three Fingered Jack: Star Trails

    Newer Older

I was invited by Dan Sherman to go up to Three Fingered Jack with him. Having not done any hiking in months and wearing new boots, my feet paid the price. It's a small price to pay for perfectly clear skies like this. What may appear to be clouds above the peak is just the Milky Way getting smeared by this 20 minute exposure, shot with my new AF-S NIKKOR 16-35mm f/4 ED VR.
