Webley Mark 3 .455 Revolver

A top-break .455 caliber British Webley. This fine revolver was used by forces of the United Kingdom from the late 1800's through World War Two. Chambered for the potent 300 grain .455 bullet, the Webley is easy to fire and reload... plus, after 100 years, this example still looks great.

After weathering conquest and war for a hundred years, this old workhorse was rewarded by the British government with a ban that ended the life of it and many of its steel brethern. Thousands of such pistols were melted, "deactivated", and otherwise destroyed in the early 1990's when the UK insituted a nationwide handgun ban for all law-abiding Britons.

The Webley was made famous in the treches of World War I, and was immortalized on the screen by such films as "Indiana Jones" and "Sky Captain and The World Of Tommorow".
