Desert Eagle .44
The Israeli Desert Eagle Pistol, one of the more interesting phenomenon in the world of social faux pax. This heavy weapon is not terribly accurate, nor fun to shoot in this author's pint-size hands, nor easy to Gun Kata with as the Matrix would lead you to believe... but its integral rotating bolt (ala AR-15) and piston- based gas return system speak of the amazing mechanical minds in the firearms community.
Despite popular belief, IMI did not actually build this pistol for the IDF, but specifically for the penis-contest consumers of the American handgun market. The Isarael Defence Force's main sidearm is the Jericho 941, in .41 IMI caliber. Also widely used in the Middle East is the Browning Hi-Power 9mm single action automatic.
Despite the Eagle's ridiculousness, I support it's use, for at least we in the US can still own handguns.

At my old club in the UK they always used to say it's not the gun but the bum behind the gun.
I had a CZ which I was not happy with because I got poor grouping with it, a master shot at the club had a go with it, no previous experience with this weapon and got fine groups.
Just goes to show.
Personally I have small hands and find big guns unweildy.
Here in Portugal we can still own handguns but only just. They are making life more and more difficult for us and getting a licence to shoot larger calibers seems to be getting more and more difficult.

Now this is a fine piece of machinery you have! I would love to own one but the price is prohibitive.
Besides, I am sure Dianne Feinstein would love to come and confiscate all such pistols when she gets enough support. Let us hope this never happens.

because in .357 magnum it is too week(for me)and in .50
