Into The Light

It is with a very heavy heart that I tell you all that my brother-in-law Ken, passed away yesterday at the age of 64, after a long very courageous fight for life. His heart just could not hold on any longer. He will be greatly missed. xoxoxo

At the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month- we will remember all those who gave and are still giving their lives in wars so that we may enjoy our freedom and peace.

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,

In Flanders Fields.

Tranquility

Just a quick hello to you all - thank you for all your visits and well wishes- my brother-in-law is still in hospital waiting for a heart transplant - he was scheduled for surgery today for a mechanical heart as a temporary solution but they had to cancel due to his white blood count- this is so nerve racking- we just have to keep praying and hoping for a positive outcome.
I will catch up with you all when I have a moment. xoxoxo!

Nature's Miracles

Sorry I have not been around much- have not really been in the mood and my time is limited.

My brother-in-law is back in hospital and is very sick- he is now on the heart transplant list and if a new heart is not found this week they will have to put in a mechanical one until a new heart is found. This of course will give him a chance at living a little longer but will also delay a new heart, as they can not do two such serious surgeries so close together. This has been a very trying and worrisome time for the whole family.
I will try to keep you posted as I am able- please say a few prayers for him. Thank you all for your support. Hugs xoxo!!
