I'm imagining Jill hugging Michelle here and whispering, "I don't want to jinx it, but I think things are going pretty well."

What was achieved on Nov. 4th is truly a victory and in no way should it be seen otherwise within its' right. But not for the same reason it is also the spark which will ignite our constitution doused over the years with the fuel of dwelling liberties by the very people it was designed to protect.

Nice to see his wife moving, thought Madam Taussaud's had the victory foreseen...

looked at this picture and thought there is all the idiots in the world in one room fixing to plot how to bury this country in the ground any man with the middle name ''hussein'' is not my president.

Mr. dowork4x4. Your English sucks it should be "there are". You look like the idiot. Racist and arrogant. George may have a good old boy name but he screwed us over for years. You may have enjoyed it but the rest of us did not!! By the way before you ask, I am White. I was ashamed of my country for many "Bush" years. I can now hold my head up with pride.

Hi Mr.Dowork4X4,
You know, nothing amazes me like Americans, you people categorize every single thing into groups, take for example you have two main political parties yet you have, conservative republicans, right winged, left winged, center right, liberals, etc....you have divided your own people in African Americans, Asian American Latinos, etc.
Why can't they just be Americans?. I guess people like you, Mr. 4x4 love to sub-divide so that you always have the upper hand....this is to control....you place people into different category so the sterotyping remains inforce.
If you did not know Mr.President Elect is 50/50. Half white and half black. A kind of unity that is desperately needed in the U.S.A.
Just look at the composition of Mr.Obama initial cabinet and you will see the trend. The vast majority will be white.
Throughout the US's history it has always had a white POTUS....give the so called 'African American' a chance and you will see the difference.
The world took a collective sigh of relief when Mr. Obama won.
John Mccain....''I'd rather loose an election than a war.'' Does that mean anything to you?

All white people who voted for change should hold up their heads with pride. You have done what many thought was unthinkable. God bless you all.

To Mr. dowork4x4-
Take a deep breath and try to allow people and thoughts and ideas different from your own into your world. A comment like "any man with a middle name of Hussein is not my president", is shallow, out-dated, and frankly, laughable. Who cares what his name is? Who cares if he has a different color of skin than you? Why does this make you so afraid? I can only guess that you have not explored this incredibly diverse and beautiful world and so, are afraid of anything or anybody appearing to be different from yourself.
Give the guy a chance before you condemn him. And, after a few years, you may find that he's not so bad, nothing to fear, and you may even have your circumstances improved by virtue of his leadership. Try not to believe everything you read or hear from the "other side' asking you to fear his policies - that he will thrust the US deeper into a hole (not sure how he could do better at that than Bush, but whatever). These are scare tactics used to DIVIDE us, and you're buying into them. Think for YOURSELF and wait and see. Whether you know it or not, you're being manipulated by your own fear and those who would seek to use your fear to their advantage.
On the other hand, if you are just a racist as my simplistic and under-educated grandfather was (he hated my dog because my dog was black), then I will say to you what I thought about my grandfather - though I loved him: Your time has passed - it's time you to go - this world will be far better off when of the limited minds have left us for good.

I was really in great intense while i was watching election results. I really wanted this guy to win. He really has that genuine love, emotion, desire and potentials to be Americans' leader. I watched the full video of his victory speech, so so so inspiring at that. TO ALL AMERICANS, GOOD LUCK FOR CHOOSING A RIGHT MAN TO LEAD YOU ALL THE WAY AND GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!!.
By the way, I am not an American nor African. I am a Filipino. But US election this year really caught me. I hope Philippines can find the same leader as what u have now.
To President OBAMA, this election gave you a chance to bring changes to America. YES YOU CAN!!!!! As i watching you in your victory speech, i got inspired and amazed the way you did it. It shows how intelligent and smart leader you are.
God bless you and your family. The whole world had seen you have a very united and closely knit family. You're family is role model. Your wife and kids...they're so nice..

Dear President Obama
I produced this as a means of supporting
your efforts in the quest for world peace.
I used the images as a means of innuendo.
.
The Video is called;
"Show us the way President Obama"
I am honored by your win, your presence in
American politics and your extreme courage
to change the very fabric of our nation for the
better.
The video is here at;

Love Stan
A proud American
P.S. To all others viewing this, it is a
very strong message and the only way
to fully understand the intent is to watch
it all the way through.
If it is overwhelming, book mark
and come back later.

@rackagecrew: While you must be very proud of yourself for analyzing our entire country, maybe you should look at it this way:
Our country IS made up of many types of people. We do like to see the way Latinos vote and compare it to how African-Americans vote, or see the way Southern Baptists vote and compare it to how Jews vote, or see how men vote and compare it to how women vote. No one is claiming that these groups or mutually exclusive or even distinct, but in a country as large and varied as ours, it's only natural to compare and contrasts the different voices we have! Shame on you for trying to pin this as shallowness instead of embracing our differences.
It wasn't just the world that took a sigh of relief, it was America too. After all, WE elected him. It wasn't luck, it was hard work. You're welcome.
I definitely do NOT agree with dowork4x4, but your condescending response is no kinder than his. Your correct grammar doesn't mask your ignorance very effectively.
