I love how this picture says: now it's for real, it's up to us, we're going to do it. Unbelievable to have that thrust upon you in a moment.

In my head, Obama's just said "Fired up!" and Biden's responding "ready to go".

I find something beautiful and symbolic in the black silhouette of the white man's head being between Biden and Obama.

Watching this photo is a dream come true for me.

I write from Italy and i'm very happy for all american people, Obama ideals are mine, you are very lucky.

I have Mr. Berlusconi as president , a man who declares Bush is the Greater President in the american history.

Help!!! I love my country but i'm despair for our future with this man.

Congratulations on your victory. Please capture this opportunity in history, unlike Bush did after 9/11.

Much as I admire Obama, I am worried that the cult of celebrity that surrounds him will blind us all to the fact that one man on his own cannot change anything, least of all on Capitol Hill.

I am from brazil, good luck for the two

Muito legal o Barack Obama ganhar, vamos torcer para que ele e seu vice façam coisas boas não só nos E.U.A , mas em relação ao outros países que precisam da ajuda em varios setores principalmente na economia e comércio.

i lvoe this picture.you think this is when they found out they had won?

    47. Novus ordo seclorum (43 months ago | reply)

What was achieved on Nov. 4th is truly a victory and in no way should it be seen otherwise within its' right. But not for the same reason it is also the spark which will ignite our constitution doused over the years with the fuel of dwelling liberties by the very people it was designed to protect.
