Amazing. Congratulations. Because you, your family, team, and the American people, have been able to win this, there are many more people in the world today who know what history being made feels like. I now know that it feels amazing.
May these times be yours. I believe much of the world wishes it that way. And, may all of us in the world have the chance to experience your wisdom and peace of mind and the way you engage, for a long, long time.
Also: "Yipppeeeeeeee!", says this Australian :).

His sober attitude here speaks VOLUMES to the man he is. I am so impressed with him, acting like a man with a mission, and not a giddy school girl because he won this election.
Your attitude towards the win, and after winning give me even more hope. You may not be the messiah everyone is looking for, but I have great faith in your presidency.
Good Luck President Obama, and may your obvious intelligence and care guide you through a great 8 years, and lead this country to a greater path.

Just look at the caring hand over her husband. he's got her back, and she's got his heart and emotions under her care. You can see these two are first greatest of friends before husband and wife, parents to gorgeous children and then President and first lady to America.
Could you beat that combination? Oh, no! They got it all. And God please look after them night and day.

I stayed up late to watch all the results come in and, of course the speech. Your words were wonderful and I was estatic at the win but my emotions overwhelmed me when you mentioned Michelle and how she will be a wonderful First Lady.
I couldn't agree more.
Our hope and faith and hearts are for you.

Dear Mr,&Mrs President I am so glad that God allowed me to live to be able to see a very historical event happen when you stepped up and presented yourself to run for the most important job in the world i begin praying for you and your family cause i knew that it wasn't no one but God that gave you the courage to be that man to take a stand for what's right for all of his people i throught of David and Goliath, when David did not have any fear of what man said or did he still listen to what God had told him and he stood on his word. And i throught of Moses when God sent him to Pharaoh to tell him to let my peoples go and as i told my children this ordained by God and there is nothing that man can do cause when God opens a door no man can go in but the man he has blessed to go in and he gave you the strenght to do what has already been ordained before you were concieved in your mother's womb. And i am so glad that i serve a God that does not see color he only looks at our hearts.I thank God for you and all that God has put at your hands and his blessings be with you and your family and the peoples that you pick to do the job that's a hand. PEACE,GRACE AND MERCY BE WITH YOU ALL.

You and Michelle are such an inspiration! It feels wonderful to have a person I can be proud to call my President. Not just because you are a Black Man or a Democrat, rather because you are thoughtful, deliberate & you love our Constitution. I am eager for the next 8 years & await the opportunity to work with you and my fellow citizens toward perfecting our Union!

Hello Mr. President,
Congratulations on your big win!!!!!! I am so proud of you and your family and your whole team. Tears came to my eyes when i saw the results and even the next day i read about it and even now looking at the photos. You have a beautiful wife and two beautiful daughters, who must be sooooo proud of you and supported you through all of this, I salute them. You have made so many people proud. May God continue to bless you and help you to help not just the USA but other parts of the world that so desperately needs your help. I wish your beloved grandma was here to see her grandson make history, but she is resting with God and may you knowing that give the comfort you need. Take care of your famiy and yourself. I knew you could do this. America is really ready for change. One part of the change have passed the other part will take some time but it will be done. God bless you all.
With love from a Guyanese woman.

Another ecstatic person from Australia here-enormous thanks and congratulations to Obama, those who supported his campaign, and all who got out and voted for him.
I like Obama's policies and am glad they will be implemented, but far more than that, I am so grateful to see people feel a real sense of purpose that we need to get involved and turn things around. I am thankful that Barack Obama managed to reach out and inspire so many people. When he made his speech, I cried and cried. Thank god, I seriously thought the road we were all headed down would never end.

I cried when I heard his acceptance speech. I'm crying now as I look at these pictures.
He seems to be a good, humble man who understands the enormity of what he is undertaking, but wants to do it anyway. How many people would honestly want to take on what he has in store for him in the next few months.
Brave. Did I say brave?

Congratulations, this is something I never expecited to see happen in my lifetime. I truely understand that you have been thrown under the bus so to speak, but know that we know that you have the hearts ,finances, and families in mind as you move forward. All I ask is that you don't forget the Kinship Caregivers, relatives raising other relatives children in mind. They save the government millions of dollars in support costs and may of them are informal caregivers,by that I mean the children are not in the system. Help them.Thank you Fai Mathews program assistant for Rainier Beach's Grandparents and Kinship Caregivers in Action. We know it won't be easy but we have your back.

This picture to me says I need a hug. I dunno, to me his expression is asking to be held. "Just hold me honey". I LOVE BARACK, from the first time i saw him on that OPRAH show one night, that was it! Kinda like how Michelle felt when she went on that date and heard how his words flowed from his heart. He symbolizes everything I have ever hoped and dreamed of a man can be. Now he will be OUR man! Congratulations Mr. Obama, may you continue to lead us up the path of righteousness and continue to live the dream. INSPIRE us Americans to be the great nation we should have always been. I have faith. Thanx!
