Don't worry, Sangio. We Americans won't hold the Italian people responsible for Berlusconi's silly words. After 8 years of George Bush we know what it's like to have a leader who makes a regular habit of embarrassing our country .

I'm so happy! I now DO have hope that my wonderful USA will work together in hope instead of cower in fear.

Thank you, now we won't be moving away from our homeland to protect our freedom.

Your first staff pick is an excellent one!

Watching Oprah, with Will Smith on today. Although I am caucasian, I realize that I also was raised to believe that anyone could be President, and that color doesn't matter; the only race is the human one. And I too am moved to tears by this historic event. I KNOW the best man won the post, and America must rise to deserve him. And I know we can!

I'm very happy with the way the vote went, but I have a question. Why do you pretend to be Obama on your profile page? If you are David Katz, I think you should state that, not least because impersonating another person is in breach of the flickr guidelines and can lead to account deletion.

Branddobbe "there may be any number of photographers contributing to the photostream"

Flickr Guidelines: ( flickr.com/guidelines.gne ) "Do upload content that you have created.
Respect the copyright of others. This means don't steal photos or videos that other people have shared and pass them off as your own."
and "Don’t upload anything that isn't yours.
This includes other people's photos, video and/or stuff you've collected from around the Internet. Accounts that consist primarily of such collections may be terminated at any time."

I posted my earlier comment as a reminder to whoever maintains this stream. Flick may terminate this account at any time because not all the photos were taken by one person. Individual photographers should have their own streams and then use a GROUP for photos of Obama's campaign.
I'm led to believe that some people have already reported this account for violation of the Terms of Use. Don't say I didn't warn you if it suddenly disappears.

If one photographer whose work has been used in this stream decides he wants control over it again, a "Notice of Infringement" would probably lead to deletion of the whole stream.
Staff has explicitly stated that the person claiming to be "Barack Obama" on flickr has not received special permission to break the rules that everyone else has to follow.

I want to congratulate President-elect Barack Obama for running a terrific campaign and delivering a message of much needed hope. I am hopeful that it was not all for naught as it appears the "chamge" you have spoken of will certainly never emanate from Joe Biden of the cast of ex- Clinton ites I saw you with today. That would most certainly lead to much more of the same.

May God bless you further to make your decisions based on wisdom of seeing our country's reel needs and not more political expediency of the past. Then, and only then, (rather then leading by polls as Clinton did) you will most certainly become one of, if not thee most, important men as well as Presidents in history.

Godspeed to you President Obama. My condolences on your Grandmaothers passing. Your grandparents most certainly helped instilling values and raising you well.

Isn't it crazy how our GOD works out? Mr. Obama, my president, our president (even the republicans) I've prayed for this day to come from the time i was in grade school learning about the past presidents. The U.S. now has a special, perfect and history changing gift...... YOU... I thank you for what you have done for the U.S., what you want to do for the U.S. and what you are going to do for US. It's great to have someone of your background, family issues, your LIFE in general give someone like myself and other people the view and understanding that not only other racial backgrounds are better than the other. And speaking for myself it's great to see and know that African Americans can and do have families where there is both parents in the house, raising the kids together, where african americans have great paying jobs just as anyone else does, also putting it out there that not all african americans have to have someone of the other race to get ahead in life. Best wishes and prayers for everything that you do and that beautiful family that you have. Tell your wife she is the type oe WOMAN that every african american woman should look up to. Bold, strong, beautiful, great speaker, great mother, and im sure a great wife. A woman of many hats..
