I'm from Norway and was up all night until morningtime to watch the election.
I honestly cheered out loud when the final results came in.
These facial-expressions tells alot, I'm a photographer myself and i like the documentary-feel of these. Honest photographs of an honest man and family.
All the best, and support,
Martin

Where Barack get's his energy from I don't know! He sure is fit. He must have been exhausted after all those speeches the last days of the campaign. These photos say so much. Thanks

Fantastic. Photos such as this.. hell, just *being* so present on flickr and elsewhere gives the American people a connection to their next president that we haven't experienced since FDR's Fireside Chats.
We live in amazing times.

Everybody looks a little tired... Understandable after this enormous campaign. Good to get some rest. Hopefully there will still be enough family time in the years to come :)

Thank you Mr President Elect Obama for again sharing your life with the people of the world. This is what we long for, a true connection with our President. Someone who actually experiences everyday ups and downs. You are sent from God. He is using you to touch our hearts and make us act. You are the Real Deal. Am loving these pictures. May God continue to guide you in the next step of your life.

Mr. President Elect Obama--as an American citizen wanting the change you speak of, ask for our help, tell us what we need to do. I think we finally get it that we will all need to sacrifice and make some changes, and are ready to do it. You are not taking on this huge challenge alone, your citizens are here to support you. Make sure to spend enough time with your family, and get enough rest so that that huge job does not swallow you whole!!! We are behind you.
