What was achieved on Nov. 4th is truly a victory and in no way should it be seen otherwise within its' right. But not for the same reason it is also the spark which will ignite our constitution doused over the years with the fuel of dwelling liberties by the very people it was designed to protect.

I know I got chocked up. A great day after entirely too many dark ones.

At last, a president for whom I would walk through fire.

He looks a little withdrawn here, his mama-in-law reaching out. I think he must feel his aloneness in all this, even though he's surrounded by family. Don't forget, this man is willingly facing death, in service to his country. His whole famly knows it. He no longer belongs to them. I hope and pray he is protected.

gncguzman: I'm disappointed that you chose this place to express your views. This is a series of a photos of a beautiful family and a historical moment and the sentiments have been overwhelmingly positive -let's keep it that way. There are many other places where you can state your doubts.

      ANYway....

This is definitely one of my favorite shots. It says so much with so little. Beautiful. You can really see Michelle's resemblance to her mother.

Having had experienced this election night feeling myself when I was elected, I see him in this photo having a deep reflection of how this came to be possible and moreover, how he will move forward with all of the inherant problems the US faces right now. It looks to me that he is confident but wants to be certain that he gets it right!

Won't someone please teach Michelle Obama how to dress. Her clothes are atrocious and unbecoming of a first lady or anyone else for that matter. The clothes look cheap.

      Dear President Obama

I produced this as a means of supporting
your efforts in the quest for world peace.
I used the images as a means of innuendo.
      .

      The Video is called;

"Show us the way President Obama"

I am honored by your win, your presence in
American politics and your extreme courage
to change the very fabric of our nation for the
      better.

      The video is here at;

      www.youtube.com/watch?v=8r7CZARwU2k

      Love Stan
      A proud American

P.S. To all others viewing this, it is a
very strong message and the only way
to fully understand the intent is to watch
      it all the way through.
If it is overwhelming, book mark
      and come back later.
      If you think it inappropriate,
to this I say these people like you
      have hopes, aspirations, dreams, family
and every single one of them still breathing
now belong to our new President.

Kudos to the person who stood up to say this is not the appropriate spot for negativity. To the person who made comments about Michelle's wardrobe you are way off base and quite simply WRONG! I do thinks it's wonderful for you that the only thing that you have to worry about through all of this is fashion. On the other hand I am sad for you, because this means you have not felt the full impact of this momentous event in America. To Barack and his family, there are no words to describe what this all means to me. Just know that every positive thought and every positive feeling you have, I am one of the many that share in those with you. And if it is true that we can direct positive energy to someone or something, it is my hope that you are able to feel that at your back pushing you on through the good and the bad. That goes for your family as well. I am a stay at home mom, so I know that a strong, loving family makes all the difference. So please let your wife, your daughters, and the rest of your family know that we appreciate what they are sharing with us.

    33. mistrivia1 (43 months ago | reply)

To both the individuals who made inappropriate remarks about people on welfare and Michelle's wardrobe, this is NOT, the place for it! You chose this place to say things that are not relevant here and neither of you said anything about the photos and what they captured. You chose to be negative in a POSITIVE atmosphere! Shame on you. Some people unfortunately get some perverse joy in seeing others who are JOYFUL and UPLIFTING, SAD & DISGUSTED like them.

      No Weapon Formed Shall Prosper.

Satan has no PLACE UP IN HERE!

Thank You God for your GRACE!

OK, I'll be the one to say it. It seems all of America, especially the African community, seem to be forgetting that Barack Obama is ONLY 1/2 Black. I'm not saying this to be negative nor racial, I'm 1/2 hispanic & 1/2 italian, a mutt myself & I grew up in a mainly black neighborhood, my bestest friend of 18 years is black. I simply wish to say that Barack is the man he is due to being raised by mainly his Grandparents, his "white" grandparents, he has a 1/2 white & 1/2 Indonesian sister & you don't hear anything about them. I feel VERY honored to have lived in a nation in which we could elect a first black President & personally I think Barack Obama will be one of our best Presidents ever. I simply wish to give credit where credit is due. All I seem to read & see on the net now a days is on Michelle's family & nothing on Baracks white relatives. I can understand the pride felt by the African community, especailly w/all that has conspired in that last 100 years but unless i'm mistaken & if I am then please correct me but when/where did Barack Obama have any African American influence in his life? His dad ONLY saw him ONCE in a 21yr span? I'm sorry but once again I say give credit where credit is due, his Grandparents. This is like Shaq's farther coming to him ONLY after Shaq became a superstar, where was he while he was growing up? With that said, I'm sure i'll get some negative feedback off this post.

Barack has been a part of the Black American culture his whole life. His friends in high school and college were mostly black. His involvment in community organizing after college was with the black community. His wife is black. He has been an active participant in the black church for 20 years. He may have had a white mother and been raised by white grandparents, but he has lived life as a black man, not a white man - I'd wager that he's never been called "honkey" nor thought of as a white man by society. Have you ever read "Dreams From My Father"? I'd highly recommend it, as it will answer many of your questions.

    42. StanAAngel (43 months ago | reply)

You know I understand about feeling seperated from the throng, but for black America it is thier time (and ours as the human race).
As a white middle aged male I say "It has been a long time coming"!
It is kind of like wearing different party hats for new years,..
      Who cares !
      Yes we Can !!!
      Love Stan
