The only politician who has ever engaged, inspired and truly made me a believer.

So very impressed, and so pleased for you, your family, the USA and the world!

In 2004, my faith in the American people was shattered. I simply couldn't believe that a majority of people would vote to keep such a failed president in office. I was ashamed to tell people I was American when I traveled outside the US.

This Tuesday my faith in America was restored, and I can once again say I'm am proud -- ever so very proud -- to be an American. Thank you so much, Barack.

Hello,
I am Syrian-French and I have been in the US for 8 years. Although I settled in with my family, made lots of friends and built up my career, I have always felt a stranger and was always trying to explain my "other part of the world" point of view to my friends. It was frustrating seeing what happened in the world during Bush's presidency, almost depressing! I could not see anything from what attracted me first to the US.
But then on the night of the election and after I followed in depth that fantastic campaign, I have never been so proud and so happy to see Mr. Barack Obama win the elections. For the first time, I can finally relate to someone here in the USA, to a true hero. He is truely the leader of the world when he reached to everyone in the country, no matter the color, the religion, the race, etc... Words cannot express the deep joy I am feeling to see Mr. Obama lead the country. For one who had never liked politics, I am now glued to it and listen to every word uttered by Mr. Obama because they finally make sense!
And like my 4 year old said the morning after the results "Rock Obama won!" I will say " You rock, Mr Obama!". God bless you and your family for making a change!

Obama reminds me of Nelson Mandela, former president of South Africa.he brought peace and happiness to his country and other countries he helped.poeple said he was an angel sent from above, and for some reasons Obama seems to be that Angel too.wishing him the best to his leadership.we are behind you Barack Obama.from South Africa

The first time I saw him, I thought, "That face ought to be on cash one day!"
I could see him on the $20 - Andrew Jackson was responsible for genocidal policies against Native Americans and ought to be replaced anyway.
