I hope the introduction of courage and maturity into the American political system is not too much of a shock! Treating voters with respect and representing moral authority should win against "swift-boating" - but then, as H. L. Mencken once said, "nobody ever went broke underestimating the taste of the American public..." I hope we have moved beyond that and congratulations on creating an extraordinary moment.
