Save the wee Moleskines! Send clothes and stuff to Oxfam!

Hmmm,... I've been an addict for nearly four years. Flickr is like Moleskine crack sometimes.... :)

Kiwehowin...thats just it....I will save the wee moleskines....I've been addicted for 6 years now...when I first found them here in Scotland....

Clothes and such can go to Oxfam...the books, the journals...are more important to me...

Oh I wholeheartedly agree. Everything else of mine could go; it's just stuff (and stuff someone else could certainly use). My journals are precious, perhaps to me alone, but nonetheless I could never part with them.

Kiwehowin...I totally agree...though..when I moved here for school...I had to sift through...(ahem)...several boxes of journals back home....my mom gave up after the first box.....I'm cringing when she sees these..and the other nonmoleskines...

Always keep your old journals. They're fascinating after they've matured for a few years. Clothes, well they just get more embarrassing as time goes by. :)

Neil...thats true...but even the stuff I write in the journals can be embarrassing...but hilarious.....except when your father gets a hold of your journals...and you get a phone call about them....wondering...what the heck I was writing about....

There is a group on flickr called Office Porn for those lost souls (I am one of them) who are addicted to stationery, notebooks, pens, post-it notes and other office supplies of all description. I have a collection of notebooks myself, none of them used though. I just buy them in case I need them...I never do...and also a collection of filofax binders...completely useless! But fun to purchase nonetheless.

OMG---I counted at least 50 Moleskines!!
I WANNA HAVE YOUR BABIES!!!!

btw, what will you do in, say, 10 or 15 years, when you have an REALLY huge pile of notebooks? Burn? Burry? Get a second house? I'm filling up like 10 books per year myself, so I was wondering if i should start to think about some kinda retirement arrangement...

Yes...all I'm finishing here in Scotland....FOR THE MOMENT....not that I won't be back...I will.....

Antigone...LOL (as to the Babies...I think we would need a man for that occasion...I could say something else...but I'll refrain from the sarcasm)....I don't know...Mom and Dad are already dealing with three cartons back home of journals....(no they are not all moleskine)

And I only have so much money to get things back....looks like a lot of clothes and other things are staying in Scotland....computer and journals are the priority...

Impromptu poem (perhaps more to it later):

Have I built the world?
Deconstructed my youth?
Have I searched the world?
And found a room?
Have I looked in all the corners
And understood?
No, I've just tried to find the unknown
And still searching...
