Beautiful - love the composition. I envy your ability to write in journals, I've lost the ability to write these days with the all-pervasiveness of computers.

I just returned from a cottage holiday in Snowdonia. I bought a Moleskine journal on a trip to Portmeirion. I always carry a notebook but thought I'd treat myself to something special.
I love your methodical approach to the journals. You are obviously very organised.
Nice to see some new photographs too...

what more can you want? coffee, pens and moleskine...

  14. Lost in Scotland (53 months ago | reply)

To be back where this picture was taken, having a good Costa coffee...then I'd be in heaven...

  15. ssossatt [deleted] (53 months ago | reply)

i like costa, too. there is a great costa café close to my university in a waterstone's... eh, can there be a more deadly combination? waterstone's with their (occasional) 3 for 2 on moleskine products... a nice café... and just a few minutes to work...

  16. Lost in Scotland (53 months ago | reply)

Grrr...that is what I miss about living in Scotland....I could go to a nice Waterstones...and grab books, didn't have to buy and have a good lunch...and people watch...

here in the middle of nowhere...we have a cafe...but no books...we are getting a Starbucks...but it isn't open yet...it is small...and its a drive thru...how can you enjoy life without a bit of cafe moments....

  17. ssossatt [deleted] (53 months ago | reply)

sounds awful - a starbucks drive thru! so you must pack all your moleskines and come back to the UK! ;-)

  18. Lost in Scotland (53 months ago | reply)

    I'll start packing now...S....just need a job!....

    He he he...

am applying for a major grant to found a moleskine university in london. can i offer you a professorship? ;-) the successful candidate for this position is expected to offer high-quality courses on:

    "the history of the moleskine",
"the best way to fill a page in a moleskine",
"the differences in use in squared, ruled and plain moleskines",
    "the classification of moleskine products",
    "moleskine and the others: a comparative study overlooking moleskine-type stationery products";

have a publication record and continue publishing extensively in refereed outlets such as moleskinerie.com.

  20. Lost in Scotland (53 months ago | reply)

I think I qualify S for sheer volume in use (yes, that means I just bought another)....I think my qualifications speak for themselves...a PhD in moleskine, with a focus on organizing and mind mapping your way through your moleskine...

Have published several times on Moleskinerie.com, as well as other refereed journals (hey, one of my acutal journal articles is about weblogging and journaling, though this is more about how to fill up a moleskine and use than anything)....

Extensive quantification and qualitative skills in classification of moleskine products as well as other stationery products..

Even membership at a high level in moleskine based associations...I am after all the chapter president of paper and pen addicts anon....

    Does that help?

  21. ssossatt [deleted] (53 months ago | reply)

you are definitely the best candidate for this position!

i'll let you know if the grant is successful! ;-)
