Biodiesel 'Conversion': Fuel Tank Filter

This is the fitted supply hose attached to the fuel tank filter. You can see how nasty the gunk in the bottom of a diesel tank is--those filters start out as clear/white plastic. Getting these two apart was a nightmare--the metal on the filter is soft and I was afraid of damaging it with the table vice I used to hold it while jerking on the hose with a wrench...
