last gasp
I got a lot of roses on mother's day. This bunch died almost instantly. I tried to revive them by cutting the stems really short and floating them but they were determined to die anyway. This shots were inspired after I was pulling them from the bowl and placing them on a napkin before I was going to throw them all out. Then I thought to take the pictures.

An interesting take on a rose! Maybe a more contrasting background would help it jump out a bit more as it seems a little flat.
