standing on a bridge when he heard "a
scream" penetrating the universe. i had
never thought that he might have been
misquoted! despite this he remains a very favourite
painter whose museum i visited longer ago
than i care to remember... brilliant picture!
I have also always thought of it as painting
from a bridge, but I learned last winter that
the location is from a hillside in Oslo
overlooking the city. In Munch's time it was
a small path but now it's a road there. He
painted it from memory in Paris though.
So funny witty and GREAT! excellent ice-cream
drawing! I'm sure Munch would have laughed
had he seen this! this is the best and
warmest anti blues pink cream ever!
My palette was a well-known icecream in
Norway called "Tress". It is
chocolate, strawberry and vanilla flavoured -
sectioned in different parts (..the colours
sort of got mixed during the process though,
that's why the brown-pinkish appearance).
I'll find out where you all live and call on
your door when you're least expecting it.
When you open I'll plant a big wet kiss on
your cheek before I run giggling away.
(..please don't let anybody else in your
household answer the door the next couple of
months!)
