Balliolman_Mealtime_X
Canon 300D handheld cha-cha. Best viewed large size.
A display at Pendennis Castle showing a meal as served to the garrison in the 19th century. (This stereo was picked as 'Editor's Choice' on the website of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals NAPP.)
To view sit 2-3 feet from your monitor. Slightly cross eyes. The left eye looks at the right image. The right eye looks at the left image. Don't strain or go bug-eyed. Relax. A central image giving stereo depth will appear.

A very good stereo. It has great depth and is crystal clear.

Yes. As usual, Balliolman, incredibly clear. Also, the exposure is amazing. Do you use any HDR techniques to bring out the amazing shadow detail?

A good 3D subject allowing the eyes to quietly wander back into the image

I value your comments, Gentlemen, thank you! :)
@Zeb, no HDR techniques though tweaking with S&H in CS3 can often help!

This is the first photo of yours that I discovered, found via the Stereophotography pool, and I think it is one of the best examples of stereophotography I've yet seen on Flickr!
- The depth of field is tack sharp all the way through, which works well of this photo.
- The exposure, as has already been noted, is spot on, with good detail in the the highlights and shadows.
- The subject lends itself exceptionally well to stereophotography.
- The 3D window placement is just right.
The only possible reservation I have is that perhaps the baseline distance may be slightly too wide resulting in the 3D effect being maybe a little too pronounced. I also prefer a slightly thicker and solid border, to clearly define the edge of the photo, but on Flickr you have so few pixels to work with. These are minor complaints really, and just a matter of personal preference rather than genuine technical criticisms.
Outstanding photo and example of stereophotography! Well done :)

Neil, I thank you for your detailed and considered comment. The stereobase I judge through the viewfinder when sidestepping, as my photostream shows I have, if anything, a slight preference for a hyper effect in stereos! :)
Zeb, you are very kind! :)
